Life and work
- 1900–1905With Socrates Stylianou (also of Episkopi) and Mavrosavvas (originally from Larnaca) rifled a tomb at Kaloriziki, about 300 m east of the church of Ayios Ermoyenis, 'some fifty years' before McFadden's 1954 article. Part of the finds was disposed of locally; the rest (two bronze tripods, the rim and handles of a bronze vase, and a gold and enamel sceptre) was taken to Larnaca, to the house of Constantinos Grammenopoulos, where police caught the three and confiscated it.

- 1900–1905The seized sceptre became, in McFadden's words, one of the most highly prized possessions of the Cyprus Museum; Given reads the finds as having languished in the Customs House for ten years.
