Life and work
- 1935–1936J. R. B. Stewart, while in Cyprus, collected sherds and bought pots for Lewis Clark at the Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, describing the material in letters to Alan Wace. Powell: 'there is no suggestion of impropriety'. The passage does not say the objects were Cypriot, though it sits in the Cyprus chapter.
