Life and work
- 1884One of three workmen of Cesnola (Theocharis, Lazaris, Mustafa) whose testimonies were taken in 1884 by Menardos and the British lawyer Collyre; 'through the letters we know of the sum of money that each was given for testimony on behalf of the General'. Menardos sought leave to give Lazaris, 'who also had an important testimony', between 2 and 3 pounds (against more than 2 pounds for Theocharis and 3 or 4 shillings for others).
