Italian excavator, active 1970–1974. Excavated at Ayia Irini-Palaeokastro and Ayia Irini-Kharangas. Excavated with Carlo Gallavotti; worked with P. E. Pecorella and L. Rocchetti.
Life and work
- 1971Directed the excavation inside the urban site of Ayia Irini-Palaeokastro, now covering 900 sq m, plus a 90 m x 2 m trench across the narrowest end of the site; uncovered a Roman-period quarter of narrow streets, small squares with wells and fountains, two- or three-storey houses; also a surveyed urban sector at 1:100 and a Late Bronze Age tomb at the SW corner of the town wall.

- 1972Fouille 'dirigee par M. et Mme Quilici' uncovered a large part of the small Hellenistic and Roman town at Palaeokastro (houses with bathrooms, workshops, wells, a public baths, three parallel streets, a thick enclosure wall with a square tower), showing that the plan goes back probably to the end of the Classical period.
