    Member of the first AAP field crew (Erin Casey, Derek Counts, Alec Macalister, Joseph Parvis, Walter Payne, Diane Stirling) under the direction of Michael K. Toumazou.

    Worked with AAP, serving as volunteer, Area Supervisor and Assistant Field Director; also liaison with local municipal and community authorities in the initial development of the Athienou Archaeological Park at Malloura.

    Awarded a Fulbright scholarship; worked with the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia on the initial digitization of its photographic archive.
