    Carried out the 'travaux de contrôle' of the spring 1970 campaign at the Temple of Zeus, Salamis, in the area where Tubbs and Munro had worked in 1890 and G. Roux had begun verification in 1965; the work was continued and extended later in the year.

    Referred to as 'le regretté J. Bruchet': his work defined the podium and cella of the temple, produced several inscriptions and a bronze head thought to be Claudius, and he is described as having 'reconnu la partie Ouest' of the building.
