    Named, as lawyer and Legislative Council member, to the sub-committee (with the Chief Justice, the Chief Cadi and Pascal Constantinides) formed at a further meeting on 13 May 1901, under the central committee created after the 10 April 1901 public meeting that decided a museum building should be erected by public subscription as a memorial to Queen Victoria.
