    Commissioned by Alessandro Palma di Cesnola in London to photograph the Lawrence-Cesnola collection of Cypriot antiquities, producing the large album 'Cyprus Antiquities' (CA). The first version, dated 1880, carries the photographer's name and address.

  2. 1881
    A second printing of the album, published by W. Holmes and dated 1881, is the one widely held in libraries; it has additions in the facing text and some plates printed reversed. Masson does not say Claudet was involved in this printing.
