Landowner
Hadji Ephraem
fl. 1888 · Ottoman
Ottoman landowner, active in 1888. Sold to Cyprus Exploration Fund.
Life and work
- 22 February 1888With his brother (unnamed), sold their house, after negotiation, to the Cyprus Exploration Fund's excavators for 80 pounds, 'a very large price for this district', justified by the number of inscriptions found under the house and yard; two further houses bought later gave only two corners of the plan.
