    Credited as photographer ("H. N. Richardson") of several Idalion figures in the report (Figs 7, 8, 36, 52, 60); in the first days of work in 1971 he found bedrock some 25 cm below the surface on the terrace slope NW of the main terrace excavation, with fragments of house walls and floors of c. 1st century BC/AD Roman date
