Life and work
- 1885Presented to the Cyprus Museum a Hellenistic marble statuette/statue from Nea Paphos confiscated by the Cyprus Government (cat. 6212: 'Confiscated by the Cyprus Government, and presented by Mr. H. Thompson, Commissioner of Paphos'). Reinach's 1885 chronicle also reports a marble statuette from Paphos given by him.

- 13 February 1889Assigned the Fund's boundaries at Polis tes Chrysochou; on 14 April 1889 he arrived and the division of the Poli finds with the Government was carried out. Thanked in the report as 'Mr. Thompson of Papho'.
