Life and work
- 1871Published the booklet 'Delle Scoperte Archeologiche fatte a Cipro dal Conte Luigi Palma di Cesnola' (Vercelli 1871); it counted the General's finds at 14,000, excluding those sent to the Royal Academy of Sciences of Turin. Cobham's bibliography lists it as 'L. P. di Cesnola in Cipro', Vercelli 1871.
- 1871–1872Sent Cesnola, in a loose sheet with the booklet held in the Cyprus Museum library (bequeathed by Loukis Pierides), a drawing of the Bearded Venus and told him he knew of a museum that would be interested in enriching its collections with Cypriot objects (museum not named in the passage).
