- 1971Published The Glitter and the Gold (New York), a biography of Luigi Palma di Cesnola; she found and used the Hitchcock correspondence now at Dartmouth College and visited the Hermitage to read the letters on the 1870 sale negotiations, finding a torn letter from Dr Friederichs to Cesnola.
