Life and work
- 1927With Kleanthis and Bakkallouris, supported the Swedish Cyprus Expedition's negotiations with about 150 farmer-landowners at Karavostassi (Soli) for permission to excavate; Gjerstad says he hoped to sell the expedition meat in large quantities. Gjerstad describes him as 'a roaring lion with a wiry neck' who terrified the meek.
