Published 'Zur Wirkungsgeschichte des Darius-Palastes in Susa' (cited by Hellstrom in the Vouni discussion); Hellstrom notes that 'The interpretation of the architecture of the Vouni palace has also been questioned by Metzler as based on mistakes', and cites Metzler 1979, 217f for the view that the palace was Near Eastern in plan.
