fl. 1988–1996
Archaeologist, active 1988–1996. Worked at Amathus and its territory (to the Limassol Forest; Ayios Tychonas, Armenokhori, Parekklisha).
Life and work
- 1988–1991Surveyed the region of the kingdom of Amathus northward from the city site to the Limassol Forest on the southern side of the Troodos massif, including the area around Ayios Tychonas, Armenokhori and Parekklisha. About 150 sites were identified, with dense Neolithic (mostly ceramic 'Sotira Culture') occupation and activity from Cypro-Geometric to the seventh century AD; much of the Hadrianic water system supplying Amathus was traced; a Chalcolithic and Bronze Age lacuna was noted.
