Life and work

    As local manager of the Hellenic Society of Chemical Products and Manures, reported an Early Bronze Age Red Polished sherd in a trial pit of a new copper mine on Aletri hill west of Ambelikou, then a site yielding Red Polished pottery; Dikaios judged it a Bronze Age settlement. Manglis offered free labour and the Department of Antiquities dug a trial excavation under Dikaios (EBA houses, a possible potter's shop with kiln).
