- 1910The brothers Michailis and Evelthon Apostolides were the tenants of the Sinai monastery's farm when they accompanied Ohnefalsch-Richter's 1910 visit to the Rantidi region.

- 1937A monk of the monastery, Father Daniel, found an important Syllabic inscription (ICS 7) of Old Paphos in the vicinity, per Masson's note citing Mitford.
