    E. D. Clarke, Fellow of Jesus and later Professor of Mineralogy, was in Cyprus between 6 and 16 June 1801 (landing at Salines Bay, Larnaca), according to Cobham's note.

    W. J. Farrell, then a Fellow of Jesus (entered the college 1901), visited Cyprus 6 March-3 April 1909 and wrote a report on antiquities, discussing the Antiquities Law of 1905 with the High Commissioner; Merrillees infers Dawkins commissioned it.
