    Brock hosted the first international colloquium on ancient Cyprus, with about thirty-five scholars, to pay tribute to Vassos Karageorghis, Director of the Department of Antiquities; ten papers and Karageorghis' address were printed in 1975, edited by Noel Robertson, Chairman of Classics.
