- 13 June 1896Ohnefalsch-Richter lectured to the society on 13 June 1896; Brönner presumes Valentin Weisbach attended. Ohnefalsch-Richter had been writing to Virchow since 11 June naming Weisbach as a hoped-for financier of his unsold Cypriot stock.
