The project
In 1928 Rupert Forbes Gunnis excavated part of the necropolis at Stylli on behalf of the Cyprus Museum1,2. Symons reports that Gunnis carried out several small excavations for the Museum and that none appears to have been published2. Gjerstad's account of the Swedish Cyprus Expedition's later work at Stylli confirms the 1928 excavation but gives no details of Gunnis's results1.
