The project
Pavlos Flourentzos excavated two tombs in the cemetery at Agioi Omologites in Nicosia in 1986 and 19871. His article on the tomb groups appeared in the Report of the Department of Antiquities, Cyprus for 19862. The 1987 annual chronicle describes Tomb 29 at the eastern edge of the quarter's cemetery, among whose contents was a White Painted VI(?) bowl with horizontal bands of matt dark brown paint inside and outside3. Whether Tomb 29 was one of Flourentzos's two tombs is not recorded1,3.
