The project
Before 1894 Eustathios Constantinides, described by Myres as the late Inspector of Antiquities, cleared the rock-cut chapel called Archeiropoiétos near the west end of Lambousa at Lapithos1. Myres, quoted by Merrillees, puts the clearance before 1894 and gives no closer date1.
