Bichrome Oinochoe
Pottery oinochoe or jug in Bichrome ware; wheel-made; ovoid-biconical body on a low conical foot; conical neck and trefoil mouth (repaired with plaster); two-ribbed handle arching from shoulder to rim; buff clay and slip, decorated with brown, red and purple paint: bands on the body, floral motif like an inverted palmette on the shoulder flanked by pointed leaves, tendrils on each side of the handles, short, irregular parallel strokes on the neck, eyes on the spout; surface worn in places.
