Room 2 resembles room 1, but is somewhat smaller. The door construction is entirely like that in Room 1. The wall opposite the door is peculiar. It is built of ashlar blocks which upward end in a smooth moulded edge (level, levelled 2,13) In the northern corner lies a niche which on the inside is faced with gypsum. The two rooms are not free-standing and the walls continue in all directions out into the trench edges The excavation is for the time being left to its fate, until its continuation is decided by H.R.H. the Crown Prince of Sweden in consultation with the Cyprus Governor, the Museum Committee and Dr. Gjerstad and Alfiros.
