In the lower southern part of the trench the rock is exposed, though only partly, for cuttings in the rock occur just at this spot, and here the earth continues downward. At the southern cutting, which is clearly cut with tools, the trench is widened slightly, but without the nature of the feature becoming clear. The upper (northern) one, on the other hand, gives the impression of being connected with a chamber tomb; possibly it forms part of a dromos. The trench must, however, be widened here too. On further digging down, c 0,40 m lower than the rock edge, lying in the loose earth, is found a small clay pot containing a large quantity (c 65) of bronze coins and a small one of gold. The find was made entirely unexpectedly and gives the impression of being an isolated occurrence in the otherwise rather unfruitful, rock-gravel-filled earth. The pot may have been damaged during the excavation. Altogether it is lifted.
