During the previous days several vessels have been drawn in and taken out, without having been finally registered. The excavation is on the whole deficient, but the circumstances are unfavourable.
The deposit and the layer sequence are drawn and photographed. The bone heap is not drawn, however. The vessels are taken out and numbered. The find register is to be made later, in one piece That the Protogeometric vessels lie above the collapse layer and the prehistoric ones below it is of course all well and good. It is nevertheless difficult to attach any decisive significance to this circumstance, primarily because the Geometric vessels can never have been deposited above the collapse layer, since this lies no more than 0.30 m below the roof. As the tomb is filled with washed clay that has filled the whole chamber, the vessels have evidently floated about and their relative heights are dependent on chance.
