… earth, which along the eastern long wall darkens and suggests a body. The bones of this body, which lies right at the surface are decayed. The body is called nr 1. Under this layer 1 lies, as usual, a thumb-thick layer of chavara which has formed through the weathering of the rock (layer 2).
Skeleton no. 1, which apparently lay on its back with the head towards the door, has on its western side a bronze fibula, which becomes no. 8. Bronze fibula damaged and on its eastern side 9. Bronze pin. length 11.2 Square 2 has the same stratification as no. 1. Both are extremely poor in sherds Square 3 has masses of sherds lying in the surface layer. Since the last burial in the eastern part of the chamber (squares 1-2) has namely been cleared, whereby all kinds of sherds were carried over to the western (squares 3-4)
