Tomb 8

28/10The tomb is opened. It is a dromos of usual dimensions and orientation. It has only one chamber. The dromos fill homogeneous and rich in pottery. The clay layer above the tomb chamber is thick and the rock has on the whole held. No serious collapses seem to have occurred. The door opening is small and tetragonal. The chamber is medium-sized and filled with good Red Pol. pottery. It is round and lacks a niche. The clearing is begun.

29/10Since the clearing has progressed and the vessels have been drawn, the following vessels can be taken out. Before they are removed it is, namely, impossible to say anything about the number and position of the skeletons. The deposition is concentrated to the western part of the chamber.
