Excavation with stones at the palace at Vouni

Description
Pale stone blocks and wall faces fill the foreground, with a rectangular opening in one wall showing a dark recess. Cut rock rises at the left, and at the right stepped blocks and low stone courses extend toward a flat horizon that appears to be the sea. No people or equipment are visible, and the bright overcast sky makes the stonework appear washed out.
