Description

A watercolour drawing of a jug with a tall neck, a strap handle rising from the rim to the shoulder, and a rounded body on a low foot. Reddish-brown bands run around the rim, neck and shoulder, and a bird with a long beak and legs is painted on the neck above a zigzag band. Rosette-like motifs and spiral scrolls decorate the upper body, and the lower body is pale cream with broad reddish bands near the base.
