Description

A threshing floor of beaten earth with loose grain spread across it. A woman in a headscarf sits on a wooden threshing sledge drawn by two oxen under a yoke, while a man in a light shirt and dark loose trousers stands in the foreground holding a long-handled shovel or fork. A second woman in a dark dress and headscarf walks at the left edge, with a long mud-brick building with a tiled roof, eucalyptus trees and hills behind.
