Fishing

Description
A man in a peaked cap sits on a quay and works on a fishing net spread across the ground, holding a thin tool in one hand. A ball of twine lies in front of him, and coiled rope runs along the edge of the quay. Behind him, masted sailing boats are moored in the harbour, with buildings along the far shore.
English, as on the record
FISHING "Near the convent is a pretty little harbour, which I take to be Leucola Portus; and from hence the poor people employ themselves in fishing, with boats of a very praticular texture, consisting of a few sticks bound together, with some very small ones laid in the hollow, where the fisherman sits managing his tackle, and steering his machine with a paddle." Alexander Drummond, 1754. (Travels through different cities of Germany, Italy, Greece and several of Asia.)
