Selenite crystal from Skouriotissa mine

Description
A tall crystal of selenite built up of several stepped, flat-faced sections, with a smaller crystal cluster at the top and a rough base below. A thin white thread hangs from the upper end, and the crystal is shown suspended against a dark background. Its pale, glassy surfaces show faint lines, and there are some cloudy, rough patches near the base.
