Bowls (M.58.36 A.T.A)

Shallow bowl seen from directly above, with a raised inner ridge and an encrusted surface — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2160. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A round, shallow bowl photographed from directly above, filling most of the frame. The inner floor is rough and pitted, with a raised ridge around it and a broader outer rim that darkens toward the edge. The surface looks encrusted and worn against a plain grey background, and handwritten notes in blue pencil show at the bottom edge of the print.
