Gold rings, pins, pendants, earring (M.58.33)

Description
Two photographs of the same gold ring are placed side by side, showing it from slightly different angles against a pale grey ground. The band is made of fine ribbed or twisted wire, and at the top sits a thicker head with a rounded snout, a round eye and a curled element above it. The surfaces have a dull metallic sheen with darker shadows in the recesses.
