Bowls (A.7.242 c.II)

Stippled drawing of a wide, deep bowl with its rim shown as an ellipse, from Amathus — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2121. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A stippled ink drawing of a deep bowl with outward-sloping sides and a rounded base, its open rim drawn as an ellipse so the inside is visible. Dense dots shade the interior and exterior, giving the vessel volume against a pale grey-green ground. Handwritten notes sit in the lower right and below the bowl.
