Description

A woman in a long dress and white headscarf that covers her lower face stands with folded arms at the edge of a cut trench. Beside her on the left are a wooden box holding small objects and a bundle of poles. Behind her, bushes and scrub fill the slope, and a flat plain with fields and low hills stretches to the horizon under an overcast sky.
