Description

Low stone walls and flat paved slabs run across a dry, open excavation toward the sea on the left. Two people stand near a tall ranging pole in the middle distance, beside a rectangular stone structure. A flight of steps rises at the right, a heap of spoil lies on the far horizon, and a rubble-filled cutting crosses the foreground, with a blurred pale object at the bottom edge.
