Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A terracotta head seen in profile facing left, wearing a tall conical headdress with applied ridges and knobs along its sides. The large ear, pointed nose and long pointed projection from the lower face are clearly modelled, and rows of small impressed dots run across the cheek and jaw. The head is shown against a plain light background, on a light card mount.
