Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A terracotta figure stands upright with a tall conical cap, a long face with large almond-shaped eyes and a small mouth, and short arms hanging from broad shoulders. Two curved bands of relief ornament flank a raised horizontal band at the waist, and the lower body is open at the base, showing two feet. Fine cracks run across the shoulders, and the figure is photographed against a plain grey backdrop.
