Description

The head and upper body of a limestone statue, with large almond-shaped eyes, a tight band of curls across the brow and a tall conical headdress. The curly beard is carved in rows of spirals, and the shoulders carry a collar of incised and raised ornament. The surface is chipped in places, notably on the forehead, cheek and headdress, and the piece is photographed head-on against a plain grey backdrop.
