Description

A pale limestone sculpture of a head wearing a tall, rounded headdress with a band of beads along its lower edge. The face has wide almond-shaped eyes, a broad nose and a small closed mouth, and the lower part of the piece ends in a row of curled volutes above a dark rectangular plinth. It is photographed straight on against a plain grey backdrop, with the surface looking worn in places.
