Description

A slender stone tower with a tapering conical cap and a crescent finial rises above a dense sprawl of low roofs and trees. A balcony with a projecting band and small window openings are visible on the tower, and shuttered houses with tiled roofs fill the foreground. Low mountains stretch across the horizon under a cloudy sky, and a thin metal pole and wires run up beside the tower.

Description, scan 2
A tall, round stone tower with a pointed conical cap and a crescent finial rises from the centre of the frame. Below it, a balcony band and a stepped cornice run round the shaft, and a small doorway and narrow openings are visible. Around its base spread the flat-roofed houses and tree-lined streets of the town, with a long range of mountains under a cloudy sky behind.
