Alfred Westholm and Knut Thyberg. Vouni. The year given for this picture is 1937. Is it a mistake? That year Westholm represented Sweden at a conference in Cairo on excavation methods and antiquities legislation, arranged by the League of Nations. Thyberg was chargé d'affaires in Cairo 1936-1937. Perhaps they got an opportunity to visit Cyprus in connection with this occasion? The picture is definitely taken at the palace at Vouni (compare other pictures taken at Vouni).
