Red figured skyphos, a two-handled cup, with painted draped figures between palmette ornaments
Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C07159. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A two-handled cup photographed upright on a plain pale background, with a paper label stuck to its upper rim. Its dark glossy body shows pale painted figures: a draped figure on the left, a partly worn standing figure in the centre, and a draped figure on the right reaching toward it, all framed by palmette ornaments. The right handle is chipped and the rim and foot show cracks.
