Pottery Red Figured Ware, skyphos (M.61.9)

Description
A two-handled cup, a skyphos, with a dark glossy surface, a wide flaring rim and a low foot, shown from the side on a pale background. Two figures are painted in the light clay: one at left stretches out an arm, and a seated figure at right, wearing a headband and a draped garment, reaches toward him. A fan-like palmette ornament fills the space behind the right figure.
