Dark glyptic object with a glossy highlight, photographed on a card with a handwritten number label — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06552c. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A single dark, smooth object with a rounded, slightly rectangular outline and a pale glossy highlight on its upper left. It sits on a white card, with a grey label below it bearing a handwritten number. Its underside and any carved design are not visible, so the form cannot be confirmed as a scarab from this view.
