Limestone Neo-Cypriote, statuette (K. 186)

Limestone fragment, possibly of a small figure, from Kition — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06325. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A photograph of an irregular, broken limestone fragment, shown head-on against a grey card. Its surface is rough and pitted, with paler and darker patches that may suggest modelled forms, and its lower edges have a light border. The piece is broken on all sides, so its original shape is hard to read.
